Rise with the Standing Rock Tribe on March 10th in Washington DC! Yakama Christian Mission encourages folk to join Standing Rock to ensure voice and redress concerning DAPL. Thanks to Laurie Pound-Feille, there are fifteen (15) reserved spots at National City Christian Church for this event! The cost is only $20/night per person. We are looking for fourteen people to support indigenous justice in DC (If more folk sign up, we will work to include everyone!). If you are available and willing, please join Laurie and Yakama Christian Mission to Stand with Standing Rock in DC!

Update February 15
The March will begin at 10:00 a.m. on March 10th. There is a multi-faith prayer service in the works for the evening of March 9th.
We have reservations at National City Christian Church for March 9th and March 10th. They have mattresses and sleeping bags that we can use. For those flying this is good news. If you are driving feel free to bring your own bedding. The cost for staying is $20/night. Please be ready to pay National City when you arrive ($20 for one night/ $40 for two nights).
We need at least 5 people to stay at National City to be considered a group and as of today we have 5-6 people who are planning on staying at National City and 4 others who are staying with local folk.
Please let us know if you are staying both nights or only one night so that we can let National City know.
As we learn more information about the March and possible Prayer time we will pass it along. Please feel free to invite any clergy/laity that you believe would be interested in joining us. We have 9 spots left at National City!
